Comparing that price against the Hagerty Insurance Online Valuation Tool confirms the private seller has their Square Bird priced between this guide’s #3 “Good” estimate of $22,900 and its #2 “Excellent” appraisal of $41,000. That is until now when we found this gorgeous red-red-and-while restored 1959 Thunderbird Convertible originally listed on Craigslist in April 2021 in Lebanon, Indiana with an asking price of $39,500. While the Ford Thunderbird is one of the more frequent collector cars we’ve featured on, to date, we’ve never come across an example from the second-generation “Square Bird” era built between 19.
